The 'South Korea' reference was a reference to nationality, not race. If Timothy McVeigh was actually from Scotland, they'd refer to him as 'Scottish'. The black serial killer in DC, a few years ago, wasn't spoken of in terms of nationality because he was American.
Some folks thrive on being victims. Stop looking for ways to whine about imagined racism. It's not hip, it's just tired, played-out, predictable & mindless.

@WallyWadeMovies Sorry, amigo. I know how you feel. I had a mexican friend, he was also my neighbor, and when he had an accident and killed two whites, it was BIG News over town.

"Welcome to america." This shit is never going to go away. Which is one of the reasons why i am considering leaving. I dont want to go back to mexico, but this racial bullshit is very taxing. People say dont feed it by talking about it, but shit, its neverending.
There are tons of drunk driving deaths in america, but recently, i saw in my local newspaper where they talked about an illegal alien that was drunk and accidentally killed a white girl. And it didnt even happen in my town. Bullshit

@fizzypopism A person being Korean tells you nothing about their character. Those two boys being involved in Nazism says something about theirs. When the media constantly mentions ones race in connection to a crime people begin to associate that race with the crime. I didn't know that Timothy Mcveigh was of Irish decent until Margarett Cho said it in this clip.

That was such an awful tragedy and it's just not funny at all. Whether the shooter is an Asian, caucasian, black whoever it doesn't matter at all. The guy had a deep psychological problems.

While as a white person I can get that the media was being racist with their focus on the shooter being Korean, I would like to point out that during Columbine there was much speculation about the boys' involvement in Nazism. So while her point still stands, we have to consider that the media is alarmist and wants to make people freak out. So they play to the worst, most provocative things. Unfortunately that can lead to some rather racist results.
