A partnership between The Africa Society, Discovery Channel Global Education Partnership, and the Southern Center for International Studies with funding from the U.S. Agency for International Development for a program featuring over 200 Metro Atlanta Superintendents, Principals, and Civic Leaders. The program featured:Ambassador Andrew Young; President and CEO of CARE USA, Dr. Helene Gayle; State Superintendent of Georgia Schools, The Honorable Kathy Bates; Acting Director of International Affairs/ External Affairs at The World Bank, Mr. John Donaldson; President of Discovery Channel Global Education Partnership, Dr. Gail Ifshin; President and CEO of The Africa Society, Bernadette Paolo, Esq.; Director for Academic Research and Information at The Africa Society, Dr. Philip Effiong.
