After seeing the Mortal Kombat 2 launch kit I've noticed a couple of interesting things that didn't make it to the final version of the game. Nothing spectacular, but here they are.
Well, the way Raiden's shown in the poster is correct.
In order to make sure they didn't get interference with the background, they couldn't wear blue, even if the default palette has it, or is mostly it.
In fact, if you watch the making of MK3, you'll notice Sal Divita (as Nightwolf) wearing red for filming, despite his primary being blue, and his alternate being yellow. Same reason the poster shows Scorpion and not Sub-Zero.
The Excuse to remove the statues and the JC name in his pants it was that there wasn't any more space for them after adding the bosses.I hope tha the classic collection they announced they will ad this things because there is no excuse now.
Sub-Zero was gonna be cyan? Huh.
