@smhill86 that may be true but her voice isn't operatic. You can compare singer styles, I'm a singer, I appreciate the difference but I can also appreciate a song bird when I hear it. Toni Braxton's voice is stronger and more soul full than Janet's voice, even tho Janet is a great entertainer she's not a song bird. I like Letoya a lot anyway, so no need to defend anything, just saying her range isn't as good as others, low energy too, but I still love her a lot.

Letoya is trained as opera singer according to wiki. She doesnt have to sing like Whitney or Bey. Aaliyah had her own range and style and is still consider a great. Letoya is great at what she does. There are things Bey doesnt have such as Letoya's soul. So vocal range doesnt matter, patti labell has a different range that Diana Ross who is more sultry, Toni braxton has a different range than Janet Jackson, its still doesnt take away Janets greatness. DIFFERENT IS WHAT THE MUSIC INDUSTRY NEEDS.
