This season has been remarkable for the rookie Brad Marchand.
After a year were Marchand was rewarded The Bruins 7th Player Award, he had scored 21 goals in 77 regular season games. And he also were in the top 3 most of the season in shorthanded goals scored.
The little agitator, the one some call the rat, he has played the game with an edge, each game more and more wisely.
He scored many huge goals in The Stanley Cup Playoffs, but one i will remember the most; the shorthanded goals vs vancouver were he outdekes the canucks defense completely, and buried the puck behind Luongo.

A phenomenal rookie year for Brad Marchand.

I prefer calling him Marshy Matters.

Music:
Explosions In The Sky - Trembling Hands (from the beautiful album titled: Take Care, Take Care, Take Care)

Explosions In The Sky are a Instrumental band, that means they have no singer, and that makes the songs so extremely beautiful!
Instead of a song has a history or something needs to be said, It all appears within the music and It's melodies..

Go check them out if you like this track.

  • Great instincts, hands, moves ....this kid has a VERY bright future. A star was born before us in that cup final on that crazy board deke move followed by outwaiting Luongo and burying it. He showed the poise and patience of an old hand on that play. Absolutely spectacular.

Btw, fantastic song choice for the vid!

  • @nastyratneck Yeah that board deke was sick. Such a veteran play, while being a rookie lol :)

thanks man, you like Explosions In The Sky too?

  • @34thProductions ....first time hearing EITS and will be looking 'em up. I'm an older guy with no musical boundaries thanks to my students constantly turning me onto new music. I'm a big fan of instrumental stuff of all kinds. My current contemporary fave is Tortoise.

  • @nastyratneck sounds interesting! My favorite instrumental is Sigur Rós. which isn't really without a singer, but he doesn't sing real words, he's just humming, and that sounds amazing.

thanks for the heads up, I will look into this Tortoise band :) love new music!

  • Easily my favorite bruin :D!!!

  • 3:08 look at how fuckin scared Luongo is!

  • great video.. the goal at 2:00 looks like he totally demoralized kesler and beat him completely, kesler gave up on the play. but my favorite goal was him breaking down on the wing and going top granola on luongo.

  • Great video...2:00-2:13 so awesome, I'll never get sick of watching that. Check out my Bruins season video which is also set to the backdrop of a new EITS song, thanks!

  • i hope he stays and leads us to the finals again :)

  • moncton wildcats anyone?
