i was pregnant and i did the thalasemia test, and we found out that the baby had beta thalasemia major, and it was very sad for me and my husband,coz i was 6 months pregnant.... i had to do abortion,... it was sad, and im still sad.... :(

Okay I'm sorry my words were harsh I don't know you and you don't know me please forgive for my unkind words. It just hits home for me my parents had go that with me.

I'm sorry that is no reason to abort that baby my parents brought me into this world my parents said they will do what ever it takes I am alive cause of them. I'm against abortion but that wasn't abortion that was murder. btw I too have thalasemia.

I hope that people will understand we need to get federal funding for genetics. With more stories and people coming out we can strengthen our positioning towards getting aa cure. Simply understood and hopfully this will be worked on. I too feel for you - I don't know you but had to go through the same losing a daughter to this. Thank you for sharing yourself to help others.
