My Grandfather passed away just a few hours ago. I think this is the perfect balance of sadness and peace.

That is not completely true. The piece begins and ends with silence that is actually written in the score. This is how Arvo Pärt tells us that we come from silence and we all will leave in silence.

    Absolutely brilliant.

by your own argument, "god didn't suddenly exist from nothing. he did not made himself", so another god was needed to make the god that made humans, and another god was needed to make the god that made the god that made humans, and another god was needed to make...

This feels like it should be from a movie. Doesn't it?

I'd rather stay at home/hospital trying get tuberculosis treatment, than go to listen to this divine melody. I mean, the coughing in the audience is frrking annoying....

The piece is not over until the sound of the bell decays to silence. Kudos to the audience and the BBC for choosing a piece post-Gustav Mahler.
