Italian "Wedding dance" ... NOT! That's "Schiarazula Marazula" as transcribed by Giorgio Mainerio... at least to the 3:49 mark... It was a ritual dance done at Pentacost by a sect deemed heretical by the Inquisition.

@3Dmidori This is from the 16th century, I used to have it on an old LP record.

Is this your composition, or is it actually from the 16th century? Very beautiful.

sara' ..ma suona come Ballo in fa# di Branduardi ...it can be but it sounds like "ballo in fa# (dance in fa#)" by Angelo Branduardi

Hi there, thank you for your positive response. No it is not our composition but as emyth9 has noted. I was given the music by a play director Dick Rhyniker in South Africa in 1976 the month the riots broke out in Cape Town. We were puting on Shakspears Taming of the Shrew, set in Italy, andI had to start the play by walking through the audience playing this tune on a mandolin. It has been part of my life ever since.
