@adztermancoool I got mine from mqtauto_store. They were really good with me. I picked the more expensive shipping option, and they shipped it with the cheaper one accidentally. I emailed them, and immediately refunded me the difference, along with an apology in an email regarding this matter. Even with the cheapest shipping, it arrives in exactly 7 days. Not bad at all. The quality was impressive too. Check it out. Not bad for $47 to my door, the engine loves it.
@tpumpiscmibicv haha i was looking at ebay kits earlier and wondering if they're even worth it for my daily driver? I live in Canada too and they gouge the shit out of us for shipping. Any recommended sellers I should buy from if I decide to get one? don't really feel like screwing around with a bad seller for an intake lol
@adztermancoool I got mine from Ebay. Kits for the Accord (the years I posted in the description) will work for our Elantras, be it the cold air intakes, or the "short rams" like mine. This is a short ram for the Accord, but on the Elantra fits more like a cold air, placing the filter right behing the headlight. I got mine for $47 shipped to my door, shipping was more expensive because I'm in Canada. And I never had any other aftermarket intake on it. This is my winter beater lol
@tpumpiscmibicv oh okay, i didn't know it was part of the PCV system aha. Where would I get one of these? how are they compared to an aftermarket one made for the elantra?
@adztermancoool Yup they all have that, matter of face most cars no matter the make do. It's part of the PCV system. The intake comes with a new longer hose, that you cut down to size. The one end of the hose will go on the nipple already welded on the new intake pipe, and the other end goes to the valve cover, just as it would on a stock setup.
@adztermancoool Yup, it will fit any 3rd gen ('01-'06) Elantra with a 2.0L. However, on an '03-'06 you would have to do some cutting to make room for the MAF sensor along the intake pipe, whereas the '01/'02's don't have it. So for you, it would be just like mine, remove old, install new, and enjoy. No messing around required.
@tpumpiscmibicv yep, i'll have to cut a piece of the tubing for the MAF. It's a 2.75" tubing so it'll couple well with the throttle and the MAF, I'll just have to widen the hole where the stock resonator was to fit the tubing.

@tpumpiscmibicv don't 02's have a little hose that connects onto the nipple on the OEM intake pipe though?

@eldom20 Nice man, just remember you have to incorporte your MAF sensor in there somewhere, since you have a 2003+ ;)
