Actually friend at this level it is all about the competition and surfing and lidding are two separat sports. Bodyboarding is mainly for people who don't have the co-ordination or the courage to stand up on fiberglass while a 20 foot cliff is falling away from underneath you. Of course it's easier to stay lying down. Like the slip and slide when I was 5 years old. Loads of fun for kids but please don't be proud enough to say that what we do is in the same league as what bodyboarders do.
