@chunataro There is nothing in the Bible that refutes or discounts evolution. The Bible can easily be looked at in a context of evolution since the time line of "creations" mimics evolution. First plants, then fish, ect, ect...

Evolution has enough trouble being proved on its own merits.

only a christian thinks that 'faith' equals factual and scientific knowledge, you dont need 'faith' or to 'believe' factual data and demonstrable evidence, you simplY 'know' certain information, you don't need to believe in something that you know it 'EXISTS'. you can´T use those ambiguous terms for facts that don't rely on thoughs but on 'REALITY'. (i'm talking about evolution and scientific informations that 'hurts' christian dogma of course)

But these rehashed, uniquely American Christian, arguments have been rightly trashed so many times.

His wilful ignorance of the GENUINE quest for knowledge that is science is shown in his last line, where he ridicules the efforts to explore Mars.
