Song for Sami

"Song for Sami" is another of my original songs which shows just how much I love a riff. Inspired by a sarcastic (but good natured) comment by one of my grand nieces about her sister, this was composed later that same day 'a cappella' on my back porch. I dragooned my son Duncan to play the riff and faux bass (down "D" tuned Maton electric). Pictures from NASA Astronomy Picture of the Day. Thanks Rob. Funny thing, I could sing the riff to myself but I needed my son to actually play it - I think he's done a nice job and thanks to the "loop" function in my audio editing software he only had to play 4 bars!

@M00nshinePandA That's cool you have your son to do songs with. My dad or my two brothers do not play any music. My mom can play the acordian but never plays it at all. It'd be nice to have a family member play so I would have someone to play with. That's cool also you have that software to put songs together, etc. I actually have guitar rig 3, guitar pro tracks 4, and pro tools, but have never used it once. I don't understand any of it. A friend's suppose to come help me sometime.
