We found that the hard drive of a PC is the weakest link when it comes to explosions.

In an effort to have the computer continue to run benchmarks -after- the explosion, we mounted the hard drive outside of the case.

We were never able to accomplish our goal, as the PC would always shut off, most likely due to the extreme temperatures.

It most instances, the PC would boot back into Windows, which is still pretty amazing.
