A subject I feel strongly about. That is the use of apes in entertainment, circuses and adverts etc (any animal circus makes me uncomfortable really.)(NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED, NONE OF THIS STUFF BELONGS TO ME ETC ETC.)

  • Can't this be seen as survival of the fittest?

Do you eat meat? If so, which is worse?

  • @YTSurferX

How is forcing someone to peform tricks against their will "survival of the fittest"?

Yes I do eat meat, and the circus is worse. Eating meat is part of a balanced diet, since we are omnivores after all. I doubt watching chimps drink tea in frilly dresses is quite the same.

Not sure how this is cruel, whereas a tiger wrestling a chimp down with claws and teeth to crush its neck is not. Animals have feelings and mourn when they lose family. You going to convince a baby cow that just lost its mom to become a hamburger that it's not cruel, but just a balanced diet?

Check out videos on modern factory farms to see which is worse. I'm vegetarian btw, now for health, but was vegan for ethical reasons. Meat production has crazy cruel methods nowadays.
