@SchergeSatans By the way, I like German films as Das Leben der Anderen and Der Untergang. What a shame it would be to hear Der Füher yell and curse in Danish! :P In Denmark we dub the movies for kids, e.g. cartoons or Harry Potter.

@SchergeSatans As I said: It just seems overall ridiculous. I understand a little German, since we learn it at elementary school, too. My German is bad that's because Danish pupils hate German. But watching a James Bond film or some other foreign dubbed film or television on a German channel just make me want to cringe. Of course you're used to watching films this way, but you know it would be a whole lot easier (and less expensive ;) ) as well if you just used subtitles.

@srbenda888 We refuse speaking english? It seems you've got no clue at all, if I meet a person who doesn't speak german (like you) it's absolutely no problem for me to speak english! I would even hate it if i had to listen to someone who needs like 5 hours to finish one single german sentence.

Watchiing movies should be about having fun and not only about learning. But yes, you could improve your listening comprehension skills that way, you're right :)
