A look at scenes from the 1981 Film Version VS the 1983 Home Video Version - I saw the original as a child and was irritated as an adult when I rented the movie to find it had been altered by the producers to make Elvis seem better. The movie itself is crap, but there are some good scenes here and there.

Why is the voice over guy making out that it was edited to 'sugar-coat Elvis's image'. It was editing out because of the content, like it would have been with any other person in the public eye. Elvis is just talking to his mates about a girl that he's been with. Don't most guys do that when it's just the guys together?

@Jules8135 The "edit-ed" part was in the original movie. Why did they take it out of the movie since it was already released to the Theaters with that bit in. They took out several bits of the original release and released it on VHS 2 years after it first came out in the Theaters. Someone at Camp Presley thought it would be good to re-edit the flick due to several unflattering bits originally put in.

Why is he being accused of lying? She gave great head. His image is intact, as an honest man. If someone can prove he lied and that she had actually had given lousy head, his reputation might be tarnished. I tend to believe him and he is innocent until proven otherwise. I tend to think, she in fact, must have delivered a great front end alignment.

There's Red West in the background, laughing away and having fun with the King. Little did EP know that just four years later, his "friend" would write a terrible book, that was one of the final nails in Elvis' coffin. Red West, Sonny West, Dave Hebler, Lamar Fike and a few others are gutter rats.

I hate any negative response about Elvis, he not only was the worlds best entertainer but also a human being. I know one thing his music brought me great happiness, he'll go down in history. R.I.P. and thanks for the memories.

I'm fairly certain Elvis made amends with God, his Gospel music was heartfelt delivery and seems impossible to fake. Two of my favorite artists, both admitted at one point having sold their soul to the devil. As much as I hated to hear that, Bob Dylan was being honest when he did that 60 minutes interview. A wealthy man, he did not have to come out of retirement to do Victoria Secret commercials. He was having to fulfill his end of the deal, haunted by sins of the past.

@waketheoblivious ... haha...Agree'd! Pricilla try'd to OVER-sanatize The King , in my opinion. Elvis had some real funny things going on , on-stage in  73-75 (when He started to put a few lbs. on.) For me , only the last 2 years(76-77)..kinda depresses me BUT I DONT look down on Him for ANYTHING. We ALL make mistakes in life & He was no different...in that regard. For many OTHER reasons He was was WAY different! He made ALL in awe of Him...from the Beatles to Zeppelin! Elvis just.."ROCKED")!!

To who I was Elvis had the chance to stop numerous times and didn't and these drugs killed him not from an overdose like others but by causing other physical problems. Diabetes, congestive heart failure due to an enlarged heart he died of neglect from his doctor girlfriends and so called friends. Who I was or my children I couldn't eat and lost 41 lbs in 10 days I had three IV's to correct my kidney problem and labs. RN and I almost died from drinking wine and beer and taking prescription drugs, Vicodin 5/325mg 6x a day all of these, Xanax 2mg, soma 350mg 1/2 tab 6x a day Seroquel 50mg 3x a day, Resterol 30mg at bed time.. At bedtime I took all these meds and drank. My daughter complained that I was confused so I stopped drinking and it put me in DT shut down my kidneys I didn't know
