Oh My Jonas Ep. 203 (Part 2)- Piano

(AN: Oh my gosh! So sorry it's been forever!! But I've had track all week at school. And shhh, don't tell my 'rents but I'm failing English and Spanish. And grades close for progress reports on like Wednesday. Sorry there's no music.)

Outside the door.

Kevin: Eavesdropping, are we?

Demi: Kevin! God, don't do that.

Kevin: How'd you get here?

Demi: I walked. Fast.

Kevin: Did you let yourself in?

Demi: Maybe.

Kevin: What's happened to you? Eavesdropping, letting yourself into peoples' houses.

Demi: I have no clue.

Kevin: I was joking, Dem.

Demi: Oh.

Kevin: What are they saying?

Demi: They're talking about me and how I need a reality check. That I'm not realizing things that are right in front of me. Stuff like that.

Kevin: I see... kind of.

Demi: Is Joe home?

Kevin: He's in his room. Why?

Demi: Come on.

Demi goes downstairs and down the hall to the big double doors and she opens them up to the living room with the big navy blue couch and the shiny piano and the fire place.

Demi: Holy crap.

Kevin: What?

Demi: This place smells like Joe.

Kevin: He's been pretty much living in here since the middle of March.

Demi: What do you mean?

Kevin: -Closes the double doors.- He locks himself in here for the weekdays then he goes up to his room on the weekends.

Demi: Why?

Kevin: He says writing music is the only therapy for him right now. If he's not writing, he's got headphones in and he's reading or attempting to sleep on the couch.

Demi nods slowly and looks at the couch. There was a gray flannel blanket scrunched up on it along with a pillow brought down from Joe's bed.

Kevin: So, why are we here?

Demi: Well, Selena and now Nick both think I should forgive Joe because it's not his fault for kissing Taylor. Just that he was protecting me and himself. And they think I don't see that.

Kevin: Well do you?

Demi: I do now. But they also think that I don't realize I'm miserable because I don't have Joe -Demi sits down on the couch.- But of course I know that. Why else would I be miserable? I need a reason and I know what that reason is and it's Joe.

Kevin: So, why exactly are you not forgiving him and taking him back?

Demi: What if something bad happens again?

Kevin: What's gonna happen, Demi?

Demi: Joe could... kiss someone.

Kevin: That never has happened before, though, has it?

Demi: Well... no.

Kevin: Joe loves you, Demi, a lot. And after these 2 months, I think he's learned to try his best to never hurt you.

Demi's quiet for a few minutes.

Demi: Thanks, Kevin. Can I use the piano?

Kevin: Use it as long as you want.

Demi: Thanks.

Kevin leaves, closing the double doors behind him.

this made me miss my bf :( specially the part with the grey flannel blanket cus he has a grey flannel blanket that he takes everywhere even camping and road trips... he is kinda attached to it cus it was his granpas blanket
