  • If the fight stays standing up, then I think Kongo has a chance. ong has a the height and reach advantage. Once the fight goes to the ground, Mir will own Kongo. Since Mir has a few pounds on ongo, he won't have too much trouble taking Kongo to the ground. Kongo won't be Koed. Most likely Mir by Submission or by decision.

  • anyone can beat anyone. that's the beauty of the sport.

  • shit he hits hard

  • Sounds like a ton of firecrackers going off at once. Amazing. Those strikes are bad ass

  • War Congo!!

  • I was impressed at how Cheick Kongo fought Cain Velasquez. He rocked Cain several times in that fight before losing a decision.

  • @toolfan92 Brock's an animal. Cain was able to beat him because of his relentless pace & outstriking him in the standup. Plus Cain was able to outwrestle Brock. Cain showed that technique & compsure overshadows brute force. With Couture, age is a factor, he's just not strong or durable enough to beat Brock. Carwin if granted a rematch will make Brock see stars.

  • @Uppercut416 come again???? lol

  • @whole27 i agree with that. although honestly, i wouldnt doubt his submission skill. i do mma myself and i dont like the idea of going for subs when i can tko or ko my opponent straight. going for subs means that im at risk of being defended against, swept or even losing position if i fail. might as well pound the guy lol.

Cain will only get better, hope to see him fight Fedor soon.

  • @toolfan92 No way, its not that easy...especially when you aren't well versed in submissions like Cain. Wrestlers have certain tendencies being that they are accustomed to doing just one aspect of fighting their whole lives like Cain, Carwin, Brock, Couture....none of which are or every will be a legit submission threat.

I like Cain, he is very respectful and modest and that is hard not to root for. Cain said Fedor is the best at everything which he is. All the UFC HW's have a long way to go

  • @whole27 plus 9 fights, you never know man. i just see that its not in Cain's style to go for subs. for e.g., he could have easily subbed Brock from the back in their fight, but he chose not to and instead created a vagina on brock's face.

  • @whole27 nope. i hated Brock from the beginning and thought Couture's wrestling could handle him well, and also thought Shane could put him out. Cain just did the job better. He's an animal.

I dont think he's one dimensional. he's well rounded. sure, he may not go for subs, but why go for a sub when you can beat the shit out of your opponent? anderson silva doesnt go for subs either and has been submitted before. (take away the sonnen fight.)
