Would you mind if we used this on our facebook website, here in the Uk we are a home care sector and look after people with many different medical and critical conditions. I my self have looked after 2 people who have died from MND.

Beautiful. An understanding of this disease, in such few words. Listen to them. Act. Let's find a cure.

I love this piece of music; it moves me to tears on its own - but coupled with your poem...I'm still amazed. I can't really say more than this at this time.

Voice, body, mind, lung, life. An acquaintance with ALS/MND observes that her sister needs to "translate" for her inasmuch as she's at the point speech has become difficult. But her mind... always sharp and reflective upon lessons learned.
Thanks for adding the music data too.
Thank you for your poem. Sadly I have recently been diagnosed w MND.. I really like your poem - not sentimental, stark yet beautiful. Very good writing.

@echo680 I am sorry to hear about your diagnosis, Echo. It can't be easy. The person who inspired this poem was actually one of the longest survivors known. I guess your hope has got to be that the disease moves slowly and that they find a way of alleviating the severe symptoms, if not curing them. You have my best wishes.
