@steve3sc - he's stating a fact, not opinion. And likewise concerning his father's driving preferences. Regardless, what does either have to do with his sexuality? But perhaps you're a person of unusual insight as well as compelling opinion. If so, you might be able to share pertinent information on the man--perhaps even offer thoughtful views on the original 550 or the replica industry that's arisen in its wake.

Perhaps is not the reason but it could be due to the legislation of different countries. The original ones never had head protection, but since then security standars have changed a lot.
