I have been reading Leslie's book LWM and it has made me think alot of my own personal experiences in life. I came up against men, for promotions into jobs that had been held only by Men...'It's A Man's Job' was the cry.
In my case I was supported by the women Stenos&Secretaries of the men I had to convince to give me a 'GO!'
And they did. That was in 1970.
I agree with Robin Reed, women are held to higher standards by women.
Because we are in competition with each other for.......?
