***DISCLAIMER*** This is from Revelation Videos 'Garden State Arrow'. Final part. All of it shot in 2007. This consists of a short scene of the rather forgotten Princeton Branch that goes into the campus area. Also, how unusual is the Arrow III with no markings of any sort? The very final part of the video is a round trip of the NJCL from New York Penn Station to Long Branch in one of the Jersey Shore Commuter Club cars (apparently the photographer is a member). It is a Comet IIM where half of the car is the usual 3-2 seating and the other half are Amtrak-style reclining seats with a little extra leg room. And the club always requests their coach be closest to the locomotive (on this trip it was an ALP44).

  • where did you buy this DVD I like it

  • I bought it directly from the guy who made it (and narrated it, his voice sounds much different in real life). My best advice is to keep a look out for train shows in your area and keep a look out for anybody who sells videos there. The real title of this video is in the info box at the top of this page.

  • @cbehr91 I have a video on VHS narrated by this guy from way back in '91 I think it was! It was an Amtrak 20th anniversary vid I'm pretty sure...didn't realize he was from the local area!

  • @mj1234321 I know the guy who did this video and he's from in Chatham, NJ and grew up a stone's throw from the Lackawanna station there. That's how he got into trains. And yes, "Amtrak 20" is one of his videos...from 1991!

  • Sad we dont ge to see them running all 3 phases of amtrak trains like in the early 2000's

  • @cbehr91 How about that...I do remember he sent a note about having another video with footage from Hazlet, NJ (my hometown) when I bought the Amtrak 20 video, but I was just a kid at the time and didn't have the money to buy too much. Might have to track down some of these videos now though! Hard to believe '91 was 20 years ago!

  • i saw this video some where on youtube before but without the voice just the raw footage

  • I love riding in nice weather in the vestibule near the locomotive. You get a really good sense just how powerful they are. Thank you for sharing, very much enjoyed!
