  • @avusligatus More likely chromatic harmonica. I don't know if this is the same recording, but he made one of this piece with the harmonicist George Fields.

  • @MICHKAC Michkac thanks for your comment, and yes it is well possible because this piece comes from the reccord with the harmonicist George Fields. On the cover I thought of seeing Bandoneon.. Thanks for the comment.

  • Laurindo Almeida (September 2, 1917, São Paulo, Brazil--July 26, 1995, Van Nuys, California) was a Brazilian classical guitarist.

    Prior to being invited to the United States in 1947 by Stan Kenton, Laurindo Almeida played guitar in Rio de Janeiro where he was known for his classical Spanish guitar playing.

    In 1965 he won Grammy Award for Best Instrumental Jazz Performance - Large Group or Soloist with Large Group. He died on July 26th 1995, aged 77.
