The sold out crowd went beserk on this all time classic smash from "Foreigner 4" in 1981. It's one of the best rock songs ever done with a sax as the prominent instrument.
Foreigner went into the studio with producer Robert John "Mutt" Lange, best known at the time as producer of hard rock band AC/DC. Foreigner's sound wasn't quite as heavy, and the band worked with then-unknown Thomas Dolby to program and play synthesizer. Dolby's work can be heard on "Urgent", along with a saxophone solo by Motown great Junior Walker.

  • Kelly -super !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • the singer sounds like Lou, who is he?

  • ... With this song I must always think of Dorecca ...

love it, love it, love it ...

  • @Juan42136 In answer to Juan42136, the original recording was done with the one & only Jr. Walker on sax. He wasn't renowned for his work in the rock world, much more for the soulful riffs he put down on Motown, but he wanted to show people he wasn't a one trick pony. He even cut his own version of Urgent, which is well worth a listen.
