From Hell was a shitty adaptation of a good comic, Sebora is a shit drink that tries and fails to imitate real absinthe, and the Fire Method is a shitty way of drinking that was propagated by the sellers of shitty wormwood vodka.
The only thing Not Shit about this video is Johnny Depp, who is a very good actor and should have known better.

Honestly I wouldn't recomend buying anything unless it's French or Swiss, Lucid is a great choice to start.

I do a similar thing when I make chicken soup.

@furvert101 You're right! They would'nt burn the absynth until the 90's and it was a czeck ritual...
-
i see they omitted the Laudanum.

Sad thing that happens with absinthe makers. Sebor used to be good, but the new owner makes crap. Pernod used to be considered the standard, now it's one of the worst. Czech absinthe + Czech ritual = crap absinthe. These idiots push high thujone contents and fire to sell their product.

I love stupid dumbshit dope-fiend mystique. No one mentions the obvious. First off, you'll observe in the film Depp is shown using an eyedropper with Laudnaum to douse the sugar cube, he carmalizes it, then drops it into straight Absinthe, unlouched. This was a practice to enhance the drug of choice, in this case an opiate derivative with Absinthe. Otherwise, Absinthe possesses no hallucinagens. Put morphine in your spirit of choice and you would get the same results, dope fiends!

So much bullshit mythology surround Absinthe, even today in the 21st century. It contains no hallucinogenic derivatives and therefore produces no hallucinations. It's effects are no different from other alcoholic beverages. Any hallucinations are the result of placebo and suggestion.
There are absolutely no oils used to produce Sebor unlike most of the other 'Absinthes' on the market which are simply anise flavoured spirits with wormwood extract added at the end. The louche (cloudiness) caused by the addition of water is the herbs coming out of solution. The freeze filter technology used at the distillery helps to hold the herbs into solution and is a technique we have added to improve the spirit.

You couldn't be more wrong. Are any of you actually Absinthe producers? Sebor Absinth is an entirely natural product made from 13 herbs, alcohol and water. The herbs are grown next to the distillery and the water comes from a mountain spring. Each batch of Sebor is hand made and overseen by the master distiller, then laboratory tested to ensure that it contains 10mg/kg of thujone.
