  • @LukeSunTzu Hyoho Niten Ichi Ryu is a Kenjutsu koryu (old school) created by Myamoto Musashi, it includes the use of two swords in its curriculum and it's not the only koryu that has that.

Nito in Kendo is the use of two shinai, the smaller one is called shoto, it's not a ryu (school). Do you see the difference now, there are no ryu in Kendo

  • @Defsolid : "Niten ichi ryu"...i thought NITO was a RYU O_o Why do you say it isn't?

  • @LukeSunTzu Nito isn't a ryu

  • i wonder how nagata see through his hands during kirikaeshi, seeing as they're directly in front of his face. x-ray kendo.

  • good video, i use nito with diffrent hand. but it's almost the same. good work

  • Great vid!

  • The more i see about Raymond's nito the more i love that ryu. Lucky kendoka to have him as sensei.

  • Aren't his kirikaeshis coming from too much an angle?

  • Matthew San has a brilliant Nito Defence - great timing on blocks on such close distance. Something to learn and admire.

  • Exceptionnal video showing Nito Kendo! Wow, VERY good!!!
