Donkey Kong Country: Snow Barrel Blast with shortcut - 1 minute

DKC Speed Run: Gorilla Glacier - Level #20 - Snow Barrel Blast with shortcut: 1 minute.

Phew! This is the level I've been dreading for the entire time I've been speed running this game. Anyone who knows this level knows it contains the hardest section of the entire DKC game. The part I'm referring to is the very last bit where you need to shoot from barrel to barrel, while avoiding Zingers.

However, there is actually a shortcut right below the third barrel in that part that allows you to skip past the entire section. For this video, I did use that shortcut and it saved me a whole 10 seconds. But, before anyone accuses me of doing it the easy why, I also made a video for this level not using the shortcut and going through that whole section the true way.

Yeah, I did the same thing when I was younger. Found it on accident and was like "Wait... you mean I don't even NEED to go through that part? All that time I spent losing lives over this level!!!" lol!

nice speed run in the early part! i like doing the barrel part at the end just for kicks, but that secret's definitely useful for those who are having trouble with the level ^^
