Most people i know that play WoW only play becouse there is no alternative. AION does not substitute WoW. It is released at the right moment to pick-up where WoW has ended.
I think this is a great game but not all WoW players will make the move. Some people still play the original Counterstrike. Fine for them but dont tell me it;'s better than new games.
When we forget al about WoW this game is still a great game.

The new ncsoft game AION has copied a lot of elements from world of warcraft so it will never reach it! We live in a world in which originality is a rarity! I am a l2 player, also a wow player and I am disappointed in AION perspective!
