Piston is a better system if you are in full auto or goin through a Shtf situation. What ever you have, train with it

@megadeth22885 i dont have one cuz im not a keyboard commando like u. i actually go out out of my way to learn about firearms so no im not perfect but i do not think piston is just an ad since it has been around since 1895. i could give u a history lesson but i dont feel like it

i have heard that some kits have problems with the gas piston siezing up what can be done to keep this from happening with your kit?

Keeping the parts clean will enhance functioning of the kit.

Would this work with the KAC RAS (non-free-float)?

Possibly with Gunsmithing. The CMMG kit comes with specialized handguard which are clearance for the system, an aftermarket tube/handguard will have to have a minimum ID of 2.1.
