  • i have heard that some kits have problems with the gas piston siezing up what can be done to keep this from happening with your kit?

  • Keeping the parts clean will enhance functioning of the kit.

  • Would this work with the KAC RAS (non-free-float)?

  • Possibly with Gunsmithing. The CMMG kit comes with specialized handguard which are clearance for the system, an aftermarket tube/handguard will have to have a minimum ID of 2.1.

  • @brownellsinc Hey Brownells! do you know if the cmmg retrofit system has any issues with carrier tilt? I can't seem to find any answers.

  • This (a gas piston) would have saved countless American lives in Vietnam.

  • when do we get our FREAKIN GUNS!?!?!?!

  • @Jmanwit Did you get this to work? I have the same issue

  • Do they have one for a 20inch barrel?

  • Piston is a better system if you are in full auto or goin through a Shtf situation. What ever you have, train with it

"if violence is not solving your problems, your not using enough". -me

  • Can the Bolt Carrier group be replaced with those of Fail Zero?

  • Can you use a free-float mid-length RIS handguard with this?

  • @ANIMExFAN2 does anyone here take this 15 year old kid seriously? its apparent hes never fired a gun before... any way we can ban this annoying idiot before he takes his dads gun to school?

  • @megadeth22885 i dont have one cuz im not a keyboard commando like u. i actually go out out of my way to learn about firearms so no im not perfect but i do not think piston is just an ad since it has been around since 1895. i could give u a history lesson but i dont feel like it
