This is me shooting my custom made .45 pistol bullseye style. Bullseye is a sport which requires shooting the gun offhand (one handed) in a series of slow, timed and rapid fire sequences in competition.

This series of 10 shots is called a timed fire series. Timed fire is shot as 2-5 shot strings fired in 20 seconds each.

Slowfire is shot as 10 shots in 10 minutes. Rapid fire is show as 2-5 shot strings in 10 seconds each.

This was shot at 50 feet.

  • I am also a bullseye shooter but its for 4h with a smallbore pistol (.22 cal). I was wanting to know did you buy your glasses with the thing you flippped down or did you make it? If you made it, how did you make it? Right now I am using a thing that clips onto my hat to block my left eye but it isn't working correctly.

    Thanks for posting this. :)

  • @mathwiz2000 its a flip up blinder sold at places like champions choice or champions shooter supply.

  • Sorry. I'm not very good at posting from my iPad. What I wanted to ask is, are you shooting factory ammo or Hanna loaded "low power" loads?

  • @thefen1 hand loads. 4.4g WST with winchester brass, 185g semi wadcutter made by zero bullet. Winchester large pistol primers.

  • What scope are you using?

  • @NicverAZ

Its a red dot scope. No magnification. Made by ultradot. That one is the match dot model.

  • have you considered putting six rounds in the magazine so that the first shot of your next string shoots like the last four of your first? i know a few who do this, myself included, and there are no rules against it. for those scratching their heads: it makes for a more consistant lock up shot to shot to have them loaded in a, well... consistant manner. dig it?

  • Weirton, very nice shooting. Arem

  • Enjoyed your video. You're a good shot no doubt. You should have a white paper that you could place behind your target so we can see where the shots are hitting. You could also hold it up to a light source. Nice to see you hold that gun out there and hardly detect any movement whatsoever. Keep up the good work and we'll be looking for more shooting videos. Show closeups of your guns too. All the best.

  • @gregrn77 Thanks! Thats something I have been working as well as my stance ... trying to have a more aggressive posture.
