My daddy

Hey guys, my daddy died February 16, 2008; exactly 2 months and 10 days after my momma death! My daddy passed away 2 months and 10 days apart!! I miss you Daddy!!!

We little knew that morning that
God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly.
In death we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you.
You did not go alone,
for part of us went with you
the day God called you home.

You left us peaceful memories.
Your love is still our guide.
And though we cannot see you,
you are always at our side.

Our family chain is broken
and nothing seems the same,
but as God calls us one by one,
the Chain will link again.

I lost my dad on Dec. 20, 2006. It still hurts and our family has a hole in the heart of it. My Mom is still with us, but her life is only a reflection of what it once was. She really misses him. I understand your hurt and wish I could tell you it gets better with time. They always stay with you and there are those days when it's harder than others, but you will make it through. God's blessings of comfort for you and your family.

My dad died in July last year with only 54 years.

Thanks for sharing my Daddy died August 13,2008 at only 55. I will miss him forever. I know how you feel. Our Dads were both good people and went home to be with Jesus. Maybe they will get to know eachother and be friends in heaven I hope so.
