This video includes damage pictures from the recent ice storm in the Missouri Ozarks and surrounding areas. In Springfield, over 70% of utility customers lost power in frigid temps while over 60 persons in nine states died as a result of the storm--many from carbon monoxide poisoning.

Excellent video. Really. I thought it was great. I remember the sounds of the tree's crashing in the distance. Just one after another, all day. I'm Just an hour from ya but don't think we got it quite as bad. Lets hope it never hits that bad again, because we know there is more ice is to come. Think we've all learned we should invest in a generator. Take care. -Nate

wow. i live in missouri, and i was trapped in my house from all the trees and we had no food.

I hated the ice storm! I was laying in bed wide awake cold and the power was out and suddenly a branch from our tree crashes down on our transformer and it made the house shake and blue sparks burst

i live in ozark, it was pretty bad. trees were fall down all around us, it was scary

freezing rain comes down,and freezes on things, the things get heavy and fall on stuff.

We got lucky with this last set of storms...I've lost count now...3 this year? Sheesh....haven't lost power this time though. I think the trees are all toast.

Last year ice storm, this year tornadoes, and Brandon Beck said this mornin they're watchin another possible ice storm for next week. Argh. We've been here 12 years now and I've never seen weather like we've had the last few years. Enough already!

Thank you!! Things are pretty much back to normal now with people just cleaning up. As for me, I'm still trying to get my house clean--LOL...you'd be amazed what a mess one family + 2 extended family members sleeping in one room can make!!
