John Paul II is without a doubt the pope who has broken the most records in the Churchs history.

First, his pontificate is on the longest on record. He was the head of the Catholic Church for 26 years: only Pius IX and Saint Peters pontificates lasted longer than John Paul II.

Then he is also the most travelled pope. He left the Vatican more than 1,500 times for official trips. He visited 129 countries and travelled more than 1 million kilometers. Thats like going around the globe 30 times. If you a sum up the time he was on trips, you could say he lived outside of Rome for more than 2 ½ years.

He also held huge summits in both big cities and small islands with less than 100 inhabitants. The powerful, needy, the healthy and the sick, the young and, old all paid close attention to Pope John Paul II.

I can tell from your messages you are not a Christian. Therefore you are not equipped to deal with this issue. Please show me how the GOD of Abraham is the God of the Muslims and in doing so I will prove you too you are incorrect.

  • @ImagesByDavid It's not ridiculous if it is fact.

  • @Imthewbestintheworld

You do realise that your comment is ridiculous! and is very much anti-Christian.

Religion has blinded you to the Truth of the Lord Jesus Christ.

  • @ImagesByDavid You do realize that most of the Qur'an is the bible? And that most of the bible is in fact the Hebrew bible? It isn't wrong to kiss the Qur'an, embrace what it has to offer, and still keep your morals and your faith in Jesus strong.

  • Like Judas betrayed Jesus with a Kiss. John Paul also betrayed the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ with a Kiss. When he passionately embraced the Islamic Gospel, the Quran with a Kiss. Saint Peter would rebuke John Paul for such an action. I am eternally grateful that true Christians brought me the Good News & I was born again. Roman Catholicism promotes good luck charms. Christians preach the Gospel. Please seek God out & you will find that Religion has blinded the masses.

  • @ColdAsBalls that would be "ouch" to all religions.

  • @Menechem. ... Good.

  • no, i think all religions are equally ridiculous. i dont play favourites

  • @ColdAsBalls well 1st of all he is not revered as a saint bcoz he hasn't been declared a saint yet. he is Blessed John Paul II. 2ndly all popes r born human and they die human. just bcoz they r appointed to lead the catholic church they dont turn into heavenly beings. that may happen after their death according to God's judgement but obviously in their life time they are very much human and prone to human weakness. do u mean to tell me that leaders of other religious denominations are flawless?

  • @88masp is he human, or is he revered as a holy pope and saint, more than just a man.

if john paul actually gave a shit he would have done something.

  • @ColdAsBalls

all religions have their share of pedophiles. but no lets just pick on the catholics right? and lets overlook the good side to the pope and focus on the what he may have not done right because after all he is only human like the rest of us. i suppose u are oh so righteous to pass judgement on others.

  • saint john the pedophile protector paul. can the catholic church be any more of a joke?

  • @helenw100 There's a big diference between honouring and worshiping. All Scripture teaches is that 'Surely, from now on all generations will call me blessed' (Luke 1:48), it dies not support praying to her, or calling her the queen of heaven. Infact if you read Jeremiah 44, you will see my ancestors getting punnished for worshiping someone with that title. Fatima never existed, nor did Lourdes. Both were, if anything, were satanic events.

  • @Menechem "And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the river, which the dragon cast out of his mouth. And the dragon was angry against the woman: and went to make war with the rest of her seed, who keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ." Hail , full of grace!. None of your religion doubted the glory and honour given to Mary by God before the 1600,s. 70,000 witnessed the miracle of the sun at Fatima, as God's proof.

  • @Menechem

Also the number of witch hunts when up dramatically after the reformation, by the protestant church and there was even a hysteria of it in the US. Why? Well any douche bag could twist scripture to support his ludicrous statments...get raptured up yet?

  • @Menechem

You can be done with me all you want, that doesn't make your arguments sound nor your ideas correct. You need to study some theology and church history yourself. Yeah, it was Rome's fault (hasty generalization). This coming from the "church" with so many denominations I lose track.

  • @Menechem

Patron saints are examples on how to conduct ones life in accordance to Christ in certain, specific situations. You're simply twisting catholic doctrine to suit your own purposes. What about the declaration that the Pope speaks scripture?

  • @Menechem

I have Ravi on my channel because I enjoy him, I don't have to agree with every single thing he believes so there is no contradiction. I also greatly enjoy and admire the atheist Richard Feynman. But hey, you can be closed minded if you like. St. Aquinas took from many scholars including Muslims, Pagans and Jews. There is nothing wrong with someone having correct ideas and wrong ideas.

  • @Menechem

To whose authority do we go to when looking at scripture? That's the whole purpose of the useless protestant church, that's why scripture got so tangled up: there is no authority. Save, of course, the holy spirit, but whose to say one has it and another does not?
