Auto Tool Changer for Lathe

When I bought my cnc lathe, it came with a broken ATC which was missing the drive motor, worm & wheel, encoder disk & electronics - so only really the steel castings & bearings. I've re-built it using a single slotted wheel type encoder to home it then a stepper motor to move the turret. You can see how it moves in small steps to home, then rapid to tool position then backs up to lock. It's controlled by Mach3 - give me a shout if you want the driver macro. It works really well considering! I'm going to use the same setup to build 4th axis for my mill too!
