  • Love this song's hypno groove. Love it when the snare comes back in. Love the noodly in a good way lead guitar. I've recently discovered Luna and my three favorite songs are this one (whoa, she just sang a wicked cool 7th harmony @ 5:32 !), Pup Tent, and Still at Home. Some of the video looks like it was shot on celluloid. I wonder what the story behind this production is?

  • @vincentlievens I think the song refers to a riot caused by the band Suicide when they played in Brussels; the natives were not receptive.

  • this band is too wimpy for me but this song is cool

  • @AudioHollic this is extremely late, but i'd recommend Galaxie 500, Television, the Velvet Underground, the Feelies, and the Dream Syndicate

  • @Kaseta72 Yup. Dean talks about Suicide and a bunch of other NYC bands circa 1977 (Television, Richard Hell, Talking Heads, etc.). He was a big fan!

  • for those who doesn't know the title refers to Suicide's concert in Brussels in the 70's that lasted only 23 minutes and turned into the riot and gave a name to their 1978 album "23 minutes over Brussels". Suicide is a NYC electonic protopunk duo. A legend basically...

  • SUPERB

  • @room1106 Nice!

  • saw luna for the first time at ferris booth hall (columbia's student union) c. 1995. blew me away. followed the band to many gigs after that, including a summer night in prospect park when they pulled out a cover of 'sweet child of mine' that was for the ages. i miss 'new york's house band', but all things must change.

ps: check out 'tell me that you miss me' a documentary film (from which this clip is taken?) about luna's last tour.
