A sample module from Disc 5: "Getting Started with Premiere Elements 7", available on DVD from SimplyDV.tv right now. In "More complex animation", the longest and most complex of all the modules in the series, we look at how you can use Premiere Elements' keyframing tools to add a sophisticated level of animation to a simple, scanned, drawing or painting. This is a really good project for young people to undertake!
I'm not suggesting that people should Premiere Elements specifically to do animation. The modules here are samples of 39 modules available on DVD designed to get people started with Premiere Elements in general, and this module is just one of them.
The target market for Premiere Elements isn't that for After Effects - we're talking home users, schools, small businesses etc., not people who would want to buy a specific (and more expensive) app like AE.

Instead of naming videos "Premiere Elements 7 Tutorial Module." The names should at least give a hint as to what the video is about so for example this video should be called Premiere Elements 7 Tutorial: Animation. Just a thought.

It's not really practical because the videos are samples of the 5xDVD contents where there's a rationale to the naming convention. I didn't want to rename them because it might case confusion. There's an explanation of each module's content, anyhow, so I think it's OK.
