@darthjerky The 2.0 block is stronger from what I've read. People have converted the 2.0 to a 2.2 though.

rx-8 is a great car... really. amazing car, except the looks. but againts the TC cobbalt, unfortunatly, there is no match for it rx8. maybe the mazdaspeed3 would be able to take the SS/TC, but since the SS has nurburing tuned suspension, the SS will pass him on the turns

@ssTOBEssCOBALTss stuff like clutches are rated for torque... power is irelevant...same for gearboxes and beyond...

does anyone know how much horses or torque a stock cobalt tc clutch can handle?

@chris13426 Yea. I get that. I do mostly autoX with my new car, so I went completely wingless. Its attracts MUCH less attention and there isn't enough of a difference to care at highways speeds.

just wondering not saying anything bad about ANY of the motors but why did they chose the 2.0 for the turbocharged cobalt?? why not the 2.2 or the 2.4?
