Billie sings "Wouldn't it be loverly?"

So this is me singing the song Wouldn't it be loverly? From the movie My Fair Lady, originally sung by Marni Nixon (well, Julie Andrews... anyway) who dubbed Audrey Hepburn. Be indulgent: it's my first video. I know there is still work to do!

P.S. Please pay attention to the singing more than to the video i've made, i'm still learning and i would appreciate advices or tips.

It's a hard song to sing...You have a nice voice but untrained - it sounds weak and shaky at some high notes. Singing lessons would improve your vocal quality. You need to control your breath to manage your voice properly...It's hard to learn it without a professional vocal coach. But keep trying :)

Thanks a lot for your tips. I know i screwed up some parts (who takes good care of me... woops XD). I know i need singing lessons, i'll try to get a coach this year. I don't sing really often! And you're totally right: i have a lot of difficulties to control my breath.

This is my favorite song from My Fair Lady. You sing beautiful, so I can't give you advice. Your voice is a better match with Audrey Hepburn then Marni Nixon's voice, your voice sounds more natural with Audrey.

Keep your videos like your Show Me video. In that video it looks like you are dubbing Audrey. It's just nicer to watch.

I agree with Deva7, your voice is untrained, but you have a loverly tone. Ha.Ha. I've taken minimal singing lessons in public school myself, so I'm not an expert or anything, just my personal opinion :) You should do Without You if you haven't already, it's so fun to sing! Good luck with your singing!

i think with more practice, you'd be fantastic. work breath control, and you tend to go flat when you hold notes...

i've been singing since i was 5, and one way i keep myself from going flat is to raise my eye brows while i sing... sounds crazy, but it raises your pallet and you'll stay on pitch.

i'd also like to hear you sing this song without the "eliza doolittle" accent. you seemed to go in and out.

it may not seem like it, but i did like it!

Deva7 is right. your voice sounds untrained. It sounds a lot like my own voice.lol I want to take voice lessons and learn this song but you do have beautiful tonal quality. keep posting and really good effort!
