  • Dear gawd...i wouldnt let my dog live like this and she doenst....my dog sleeps in a doggie bed that looks way more compfterble than those beds in my bedroom....I have 4 walls Regular walls not platic heat in winter AC in the summer insulation in the walls....this makes me sick how someone can do this to children when i wont even let my dog live like this

  • @flourecentclear At times I feel guilty when I know a family is staying in a park due to to domestic violence. To imagine small children in places like this is too much! This is common in Texas and the Texas Appleseed, the Child Welfare League, and other organizations are rising up against the abuse perpetrated on children in Texas Foster Care and saying enough is too much! We keep hearing of a federal lawsuit headed toward Texas. TX stays one step ahead, making promises the state will break.

  • Does not surprise me.I see in the near future that there will be more places like this. After all, most are only in it for the money. They could care less about these kids especially the older ones. Can't very well get their $40,000.00 out of older children.

  • @ashatbulaparanormal We know the agency could not care less about the children because once children are placed in RTC's, "out of sight, out of mind."

"According to the nationally recognized Casey Family Programs, teens in foster care (ages 15-19) are among the “most disconnected youth” in America.

As one judge put it, “These are the children that even God has forgotten”"

    p. 2. TX Appleseed. (2010, 08/20). Improving the lives of children in long-term foster Care: The role of TX Judges [..]

  • Holy mother of love, don't the CPS check up on the people who are foster parents? and the facilities? And don't the CPS check up on the kids while in fostercare with like a yearly visit? - Apparently not.. but still..

  • @LadyAzmodan This is the law, but the state does not do anything about the abuse perpetrated on children in foster care. Michael Owens, 15, died at Daystar, the FIFTH child to die while in the care of Daystar.

Let us give them a few more million because surely Clay Dean Hill needs someone to take down the Christmas lights from his mansion, while the children live in crappy little travel trailers!

  • Unless they are truly demonic, no - regular parents would never do such to their own children.

The foster homes are generally (99.999%) of the time in it for the MONEY. They worship MAMMON rather than God.

You cannot have two masters, as said Jesus.

  • Yes, I suspect that is the root cause of most of the abuse in the child welfare system.

  • This is absolutely disgusting. I don't think a lot of people even know about the plight of foster children in this country. There are so many people that do love children, we have to unite and appeal to congress and have some real accountability and transparency!

  • Third world America and its denialists, in answer to some of the questions here, no CPS do not check and if there is a problem they cover it up, constantly. As did CPS Missouri with shreddedsociety.

They fabricate evidence, lie in court, supported by the judges and once a child is in care, right or wrong there is NO further accountability and if there is a problem the state, those who partake as Guardian ad Litems, perjure themselves and cover up, with full support of the judiciary

  • @hope4kidz that is horrible for that family isnt there somewhere they can go..a domestic abuse shelter or something...its a horrible time of year to be living in a park..my heart goes out to them

  • Dear god....i wouldnt even let my dog live like this muchless a child

  • @Alexmcgruer3 You've got to be kidding me. That's a lot of money. Most child care is about that per week at a day care. As a foster parent I got $321/month and made it work with a good cooked meal every night.
