This is the first of a series of videos featuring my awesome insect collection. It's on display at the Santa Fe Children's Museum.

The collection has 2400 insects in 30 custom-made display cases.

I've been collecting insects and pursuing this hobby since 1976 when I was 10 years old.

Besides finding local insects, my friends and associates have contributed various critters they found in their homes, and I also support the tropical rainforests by buying exotic insects from dealers around the world.

Those dealers are:

www.iannibutterfly.net
www.insect-sale.com
www.thornesinsects.com
www.butterfliesandthings.com
www.interinsects.com
www.chaminade-entomologie.com
www.insectcollectorshop.com
www.leppidio.com
www.insectworld.com
Steve Lamond, Queensland, Australia
Richard Moore, New Zealand

Enjoy the video, thanks for watching, and stay tuned for more videos to come!

  • When you went to Desert Montessori and Atalaya Elementary, I took the collection to both schools to show to your classes. Lots of fun!
