Skidboarding Mermaid and Old Seadog

We are riding my current marine ply board with custom artwork "Crystal Voyager" (after the classic surf film with Floyd soundtrack) My first board was exterior ply with the full "Queen" logo across the 3 foot diameter. We used to go to Polzeath each year and rip up the fantastic thin films of water before it became so popular that when it's busy you can't see the sand at high tide!

That looks great fun - didnt know about skidboards - found the vid after doing a search for "Crystal Voyager" (esp the "Echoes" bit!)

Dear Sean, if you are still "skimboarding" when you are "like" 40 and not still working at Mc Donalds or on a checkout - then you can criticise all you want.
