Me playing Gran Turismo 4 on the PlayStation 2 emulator PCSX2 with enhanced graphics resolution. This is what the game would look like if the PS2 could render in HD.

This is a lap of Twin Ring Motegi - Road Course in the Mazda 787B, in my opinion one of the most amazing racing cars ever made. This lap time of 1'28.496 wasn't that great though, I think I could've done better...

As I said before, I have never tried it, so I can't tell whether it'll work or not. You might want to adjust settings in-game for steering wheel, since the slow turning is an automatic correction applied by the game to make it playable with the PS2 controller. As for the pedals, it depends on how they're reported to DirectX (if as individual axes or as a single axis). You may have to remap the controls in-game accordingly. I guess that's all I can think of...

If you have a DirectX-compatible steering wheel that you can use in PC games you can configure PCSX2 to work with it (as the emulated PS2 controller I think). I've never tried it though.
