A lot of people have seen Kikker 5150 Hardknock motorcycles online, but they've never seen or heard one up close. Consequently, one of the most common questions I get is "what does it sound like"?

I put together this short video to give you a better idea of how the motor sounds when the bike is fired up. Be sure to listen to this video with good speakers and if possible, a subwoofer. It will make a tremendous difference.

Incidentally, I didn't make any adjustments to the audio, and the bass has not been enhanced at all. The video was shot with a Kodak Zi6 which has a very sensitive built-in microphone.

  • Hello I have a hardknock 200cc 5150 and I need a new kick lever and starter but I cant figure out where to get them Do you no what I could replace them with.

  • @tejayedwardsmusic We don't stock individual parts, but I would recommend checking with your local Honda motorcycle shop. Ask for an XR200 replacement kick start lever. Take the splined portion (the hole in the lever that attaches to the motor) to compare with the replacement. It should be pretty close match.

  • Awwww man, I am about to get one and came up with the idea of the oldschool jet shark paint, but it looks like you beat me to it. Ha ha. Good times. Thanks for the video.

One question: I'm waiting to purchase the 250cc version. I was told it might be available (from hardknocks themselves) at the end of aug. Will you guys be selling them right away once they are available, or does it take some time for you to get them stocked. Thanks.

  • @themohawkguy The larger frames are available, but we have no plans to carry the 250cc motors any time in the near future.

  • Are those stickers on your tank or painted? If stickers, where did you get them?

  • @uwereverythin2me The decals were custom printed by a local vinyl shop. Layout was designed by me and based directly off of a Flying Tigers P40 Warhawk.

  • pretty sure thats a xr200 rebuild or xr200 clone just look for those parts

  • would you ship to nj? and how can I get a total price with shipping for a 200cc kikker ?

  • @tipzy87 I don't have any details regarding licensing restrictions outside of Texas. I would imagine that you would need a Class M endorsement, or the equivalent motorcycle certification in almost any state.

  • @thejustingolembiesky Old School Hardknock is a different company. They are located in the Houston area.

  • @portlandspitman The 125cc sounds surprisingly good. I've never sold a 49cc so I really couldn't say.

  • @PistolGripPump12ga They are a bit smaller than a standard bike, but not as small as a mini. I'm 5'8" so you can compare the size of the bike to me in the video.
