This was a great backcourt that could shoot, pass and handle the ball
-
This was a very good backcourt
-
my coach says i remind him of corchiani
-
Monroe was too small to be a legit Shooting Guard in the NBA. He struggled to get his shot off against the bigger 2G's
-
Corchiani was to small and slow and really couldn't get his shot off. He was a great college PG, but he was totally outclassed in the NBA.

key i know Chris Corchiani...and his son..his son is also chris and he goes to my school..we r best friends...lol we had some good times..unfortunately i go to another school now but we still talk to each other....their house is huge and they use there frontyard as a wiffle ball park...they call it White Monster
-
Corchiani because he was too short and slow. Monroe because he couldn't make the switch to the point guard position (bad passer) and too small to play the 2. A GREAT college backcourt, though, complemented each other perfectly.

why were both of them busts in the NBA?

it was really the late great Jim Valvano that made that team great.
