THE OPENING SEQUENCE FOR THE MOVIE "THE KEEP" RELEASED IN 1983 AND DIRECTED BY "MICHAEL MANN" STARRING "SCOTT GLENN" AND "IAN MCKELLAN" THIS IS ANOTHER OF MY MOVIE FAVOURITES ALSO CHECK OUT THE AMAZING SOUND TRACK BY "TANGERINE DREAM"
Just saw it yesterday and it was good. I can tell this was a studio interference movie but it was good nevertheless. Too bad we'll never see the true Michael Mann version.
I don't know. I love it... but TG must have known what they were doing. I had listened to "Force Majeure" at someones home and it just slipped by me... but not that much... so I remembered the name "Tangerine Dream."
I was spell bound by this intro... the feeling... odd and made me move forward in my seat. "tangerine dream." THe sound of the drums with the reverb come from everywhere and get stronger as if they were played in a mountain... Then you had the metalic scaping noise.
Good, fun movie. Should have been longer-- today it would be two hours or more, easy, and a more satisfying ending could be done.
[Spoiler]--
It is totally unfortunate that, after building up the existence of all the German troops and their equipment, they die in one 30-second, off-screen cataclysm at the hands of Molasar. A special-effects dukefest between hordes of German soldiers and ancient evil would have been much better.
What I like about the opening seen is the sound track by Tangerine Dream. The eerie atmoshere at the beggining is indiscribeable, especially with the footage. (Like the drums echoing and reverberate throughout the mountains...) That started me on a path of being a huge fan, since I had never heard of them until I saw that movie...

@TheIntruders It appears to be a cage possibly for birds or rabbits. It's empty at the moment.

This sounds almost identical to a song in Wallstreet (with charlie sheen). Pretty bad ass tune nonetheless!!
