Fishin in good ol'e Oyster Creek for common carp. They were hittin on frozen corn under adjustable bobbers... ultrlight tackle was in order.

  • I admit it sometimes it is hard i pretty much have to set the hook on every bite because a carp will tap it just like a bluegill....

  • huge hunks of carp meat make for great channel cat bait. flatheads also but i perfer using live bluegills for flats. scale them before you use them to get that fishy juice flowing. it drives them nuts!

  • @socalstrikes That's not true. I've actually done alot of reading about this, corn passes through the fish just fine. PLUS, trout hatchery feed is made with corn. This guy is targeting CARP. Carp dont strike lures very often.
