Animal Crossing - Forest Day

Gameplay video of Animal Crossing for Nintendo GameCube. After talking to several of my animals, I go over to the wishing well, where Mayor Tortimer is there to celebrate Forest Day. In general terms, it's referred to as "Your Hometown Day," since the name of the holiday depends on the name of your town. In my case, it's Forest Day. Because my Forest Day was on July 1, I first thought Forest Day was the Animal Crossing version of Canada Day. However, it will be on a random day in July. Check your calendar for the date of Your Hometown Day! Tortimer will give you a "station model," which is a model of the train station. However, you will only get one once. I received mine in a previous year, so he did not give me one this time. Note: I talk to Candi, Tom, Kody, Baabara, and Hank in this video.

@MultiNongnut: Bury a regular shovel in the daily glowing spot and a golden sapling will appear. If it survives and matures, it will turn into a golden tree. Shake the tree to get your golden shovel.
