Just seeing what we can expect to improve on with properly crafted handloads. I think the results will be surprising. Prvi Partisan makes excellent brass, but their factory loads for this rifle are horrible, as they use the improper diameter projectile. The bores on these usually slug around .268 and they use a .264 diameter bullet. More to come with this rifle...I just wanted to showcase it a little.

  • have you worked up any .268 rounds yet?

  • @ajb4266 No and I likely won't. They are only available from one manufacturer and I don't like having to rely on them. I have some other projects planned for Carcanos in general.

  • @SUSSTURUCU Don't believe all that nonsense Oliver Stone puts in his movies..

  • @gothkid287 YES HOOVER SAYS THAT WAS a CARCANO...

BUT WE KNOW THAT CARCANO İS A SHİT RİFLE..

LEE BOWERS AND A LOT OF PEOPLE SAİD THAT THE BADGE MAN HAD FİRED TO PRESİDENT KENNEDY FROM GRASSY KNOLL WİTH MAUSER..

  • @SUSSTURUCU Nope. It was a Carcano, not a Mauser.

  • @JTelli786 I would keep an eye open for them on Gunbroker.

  • Id like to get one of these. I saw one at a gun show one day, and it was like the perfect size for me! Shame I let it get away... you don't come across Carcanos in eastern NC that much

  • BoLT ACTİON MECHANİSM İS A BİG PROBLEM İN THESE RİFLES..

AND JFK WAS KİLLED WİTH MAUSER...NOT CARCANO..

CARCANO İS VERY VERY BAD RİFLE FOR REMOVAL TARGETS AND THAT ASSASSİNATİON..

  • i have a plan to get as many WWII era bolt action rifles as i can, i already own a Kar 98 and a Mosin Nagant, and i know someone who has a Springfield, but all i need is an Arisaka, Lee Enfield, MAS 36, and a Carcano, anyone tell me where i might be able to buy the last two?

  • Sorry should clarified 4'x4'

  • I bought one of these ONCE when I had my gunshop. About the only thing I have good to say about these carbines is that it hung together. Since I don't reload, I used (I'm pretty sure -it's been 20 years ago) American Eagle ammo which was all I could get at the time. I could get 3 rounds out of a 20 rnd box on a 4x4 cardboard target @ 150 rds. I paid 60 bucks for it when I got it and after that fiasco I traded it off for some surplus ammo cans. Never owned one since. And won't.

  • Did you shoot Kennedy?
