Dissidia Final Fantasy Cutscene 54 - Brothers Divided (Kingdom Hearts Requiem)

Cecil is able to defeat Exdeath after the latter tries to execute Golbez for treason, however a crystal did not appear. While Golbez wonders why that happened, Cecil tries to convince his brother to join the Warriors of Cosmos, knowing that Golbez is not evil like the rest of the Warriors of Chaos. Unfortunately, Golbez is unable to forgive himself and, feeling he has no right to be by Cecil's side, refuses and vanishes. Cecil, on the other hand, is determined not to let his brother leave him again like he did on the Second Moon and goes after him. Can Cecil save the fragile bond he has with his last remaining family?

PS: The flashback was not in the game, I putted in just for fun. Cecil's attemps to become closer to Golbez/Theodor Harvey are one of my favorite scenes on Dissidia. To those who played or know the plot of FFIV that might be easier to understand.

I'm glad you liked it. I think it's so cute the way Cecil calls Golbez/Theodor "Nii-san" all the time. Golbez had such a sad life, he was seen as a villain even though it wasn't really his doing. I guess Dissidia showed his true self quite well. Is it just me, or is Cecil becoming very fond of him? ^_^
