  • Nice music, expertly played, but jazzy? Jazzy would have been someone like Jonah Jones. Let alone real great jazz trumpeters like Bobby Hackett, Lee Morgan or Clifford Brown.

  • @eatmyslander Yes , straight as a die. I was not referring to swung eighths rather the groove and the interaction.

  • There is no doubt in my mind that Maurice would have made a burning jazz trumpet player.
